This policy describes how FileTools Kit (filetoolskit.com) handles information. It is a description of practice, not a certification of GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, DPDP, or COPPA compliance.

1. Who we are

Operated by Souren Das, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Privacy: privacy@filetoolskit.com. Support: support@filetoolskit.com.

2. What the tools do not send us

The 12 utilities run in your browser with pdf-lib, jsPDF, qrcode, mammoth, Canvas, and Web Crypto. We do not operate an upload API that receives your PDFs, images, resume text, or other files you open in a tool.

3. What the website host may see

Hosted on Vercel. Page requests may include IP address, user agent, URL, referrer, and timestamps. Those logs are not a copy of a PDF you opened in a tool.

4. Visit analytics (Vercel Web Analytics)

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and which routes are opened. It does not receive file contents. We do not use Google Analytics or Meta Pixel today.

5. Third-party content

Tool-card photos may load from Unsplash. Google Fonts may load Outfit. Contact opens a mailto draft.

6. Advertising (Google AdSense)

FileTools Kit uses Google AdSense Auto ads. The publisher script is on the site. ads.txt authorizes pub-4409273905876536. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads.

EEA/UK/Switzerland visitors may see a Google Privacy & messaging consent experience. US-state visitors (including California) may see a Google US-state privacy notice. That is not a CCPA certification. Manage ads at Ads Settings. Google privacy: policies.google.com/privacy.

FileTools Kit does not sell file contents to advertisers. Files stay in the tab.

7. Local storage

UI prefs, optional A/B keys (ftk_ab_*), and resume draft ftk_resume_v1 may stay on this device.

8. Children

Not directed at children under 13.

9. International visitors

Operator in India. Hosting, analytics, and advertising may process requests in other regions, including the United States. We do not claim GDPR/CCPA/DPDP certification. Email privacy@filetoolskit.com about mailbox data.

10. Retention and security

We do not keep tool files because we do not receive them. HTTPS protects the site in transit.
