Convert PNG, JPG, and WebP in your browser

File Converter takes an image the browser can decode, draws it to a canvas, and exports another format. The conversion runs in this tab. FileTools Kit does not keep a copy of the photo on a processing server.

JPEG is smaller and lossy. PNG keeps sharp edges and transparency. WebP is often smaller than JPEG. JPEG 100 is not a lossless copy of a PNG. Transparency in a PNG becomes a solid background in JPEG.

1. Open File Converter and pick an image.
2. Choose PNG, JPEG, or WebP.
3. Download and compare next to the original. Keep the original until you are sure.
