Add page numbers to a PDF in the tab

Page numbers draw a simple label onto each page in this tab and download a new PDF. The original file is not modified. The stamp is overlay text, not a change to bookmarks.
It can collide with a logo or a signature in the corner. Check the first page and the last page before you send the file. Existing printed numbers are not removed.
Steps
- Open Page numbers and add one PDF.
- Download and zoom the corner you care about.
- Number after merge and after organize. If you number three files and then merge, you get three sequences of 1.
Encrypted PDFs often fail. The stamp is not certified pagination for a court filing. A rewrite can invalidate a digital signature.
